The Drama Triangle (aka the DDT or Karpman Triangle)

This is a great framework to share with clients who are stuck in the victim role, or in persecutor or rescuer roles. David Emerald wrote a great (if cheesy) book called The Power of TED: The Empowerment Dynamic that tells us about the triangle and his more "empowered" alternatives to each role.
